PATRIOT POSTER CONTEST!
All children of the parish are invited to participate. The posters will be displayed in the parish hall to be judged by the people of the parish.
OUR THEME: GOD BLESS AMERICA!
PRIZES will be awarded by age groups: Pre-school, 1-2nd grade, 3-4th grade, 5-6th grade, 7-8th grade, high school. Poster size is 14" x 22". IMPORTANT: On the back place name, grade in Fall 2012, and phone number. To be judged, poster must be submitted on or before June 17, 2012. Please submit entries to the parish office.

This talk addresses the essence of Christianity: belief in a God who approaches us, speaks to us, befriends us. God speaks to us personally and through scripture. Simple steps are expect, ask, listen and speak. Then live the word you have heard. A practice time is included to reinforce the steps.
MAY 30 - GIFTS THAT FOSTER MINISTRY: LEARNING TO PRAY WITH OTHERS
This final talk explains that each of us has a mission from God to receive God's love and share it with others. Six simple steps to pray with others are:
1. Acknowledge God
2. Acknowledge the person
3. Invite Jesus to minister to the person
4. Pray for their intention
5. Listen and share what the Lord may be saying
6. Concluding prayer. It includes a practicum

A BIBLICAL WALK THROUGH THE MASS
An enlightening study. You will come to know and understand The Mass like never before. Learn why we say and do as we do. This three week study of The Mass is sure to renew your faith and deepen your devotion to the Eucharist.
