Catholic saints are holy people and human people who lived extraordinary lives. Each saint the Church honors responded to God's invitation to use his or her unique gifts. God calls each one of us to be a saint. Visit today's Saint >
O God, bless us during this season of spiritual renewal. Fill our minds and hearts with love, that we may be a sign of Jesus to all those living in our midst. Divine One, lead me into a place I do not know. Give me your heart that I may choose to leave the comfortable for the unsure. Hand me a new fast rooted in your vision. Help me remove the tired garment of my expectations and stand open before you. Amen

You're invited to participate in a six week introduction to the beautiful practice of Lectio Divina.
The term Lectio Divina literally means divine reading, and it's an ancient practice of praying the scriptures. During Lectio Divina, the practitioner listens to the text of the Bible with the "ear of the heart" as if he or she were in conversation with God, and God is suggesting the topics of conversation. The method of Lectio Divina includes moments of reading (lectio), reflecting on (meditatio), responding to (oratio), and resting in (contemplatio) the Word of God with the aim of nourishing and deepening one's relationship with the Divine.
Join us beginning Tuesday, March 11, in Parish House 2, immediately following Fr. Val's Bible Study, approximately 10:30am until 11:30am.
