CHRISTMAS GIVING TREES 2015
Please take a tag and return your gift(s) by Dec. 9, 2015.
The Christmas Giving Trees, a traditon of giving at The Church of the Epiphany, are set up in the both vestibules of the church. The tags on the Giving Trees are requests from needy families in the Port Orange area community.
You are invited to take a tag or two and fulfill a Christmas wish of a family or child. The Giving Trees will have additonal tags every week as more requests are received. Your Epiphany Help Center prepares the tags and gives your gifts to the families at a social event held for the families just before Christmas. Your generosity in making Christmas special for so many families and children in our community is a wonderful blessing for them. When you take a tag from the Christmas tree please do the following: .
If you change your mind and cannot purchase the gift, please return the tag to one of the Giving Trees – please do not discard the ticket! Tags are placed on the tree in order for each child to receive a toy, gift card for a clothing item, and each family to receive a gift card for food. SAVE-A-LOT food card is preferred.
HEALING PRAYER SERVICE
First Thursday of each month • 6:30pm
Next service is December 3, 2015
Jesus came to heal and also gave the power and authority to His disciples through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Healing Ministers pray and intercede in four areas of healing; Physical Healing, Inner or Emotional Healing, Spiritual Healing, and Deliverance from Evil Spirits.
We are inviting you to join us in sharing the graces of our Heavenly Father through prayer, scripture, music, exposition of the Holy Eucharist, witness and "laying on of hands" for individual healing needs.
